Buddy Program
Want to make friends from other countries, show them your city, practice another language, and enhance your resume at the same time? Join the Buddies Program at ITESO!
The Buddy Program aims to provide personalized attention and a safe environment for exchange students arriving at ITESO. This voluntary, unpaid program involves assigning an ITESO student to accompany an exchange student enrolled in the program.
This support aims to:
- To help exchange students adapt and assimilate more easily to Mexican culture and university life at ITESO, providing them with tools that give them greater security during their stay in Mexico.
- Being the first contact and representative of ITESO, creating a safer, more unique and unforgettable exchange experience.
- To have an internationalization experience at home and establish friendships with people from different cities around the world.
If you are interested in becoming a "buddy", please write to buddy@iteso.mx
Study other languages
Enhance your professional studies by learning another language. In addition to English, at the Department of Languages ( DEL ) you can study German, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, and Japanese.

There is no need to take a placement exam; simply send a message to inscripcionesdel@iteso.mx to register for the basic level.
Do you already have prior knowledge of the language you are interested in?
Bring your official ID to the Language Hub in the Dr. Jorge Villalobos Padilla, SJ Library at ITESO and take your placement exam. Exams are administered Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary!
