MODALITIES
At ITESO, you'll have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs to take courses at other universities. ITESO offers three types of exchange programs.
• Exchange by agreement. In this modality, ITESO and the foreign university have an exchange agreement. The cost of credits is the same as that established by ITESO each semester, so you will continue to pay tuition according to the regular rates and on the dates established by our university. Scholarships and financial aid are applied as usual.
• Independent Study . If there is no exchange agreement between your chosen university and ITESO, you can participate in an exchange program, provided the host university accepts students in this modality. In this case, you will be responsible for paying tuition at the host university at their established rates. At ITESO, you will need to pay a fee of 15 percent of the credits you earned to transfer them.
• Exchange through organizations or networks. ITESO is part of various organizations through which students can also access other university networks for exchange programs. Among the networks we belong to are the following:
or MEXICO : National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education ( ANUIES ) and Federation of Mexican Private Institutions of Higher Education ( FIMPES ).
or LATIN AMERICA : Association of Universities Entrusted to the Society of Jesus in Latin America ( AUSJAL ).
o ASIA : Multilateral Student Exchange Program for universities in Asia ( UMAP ).
o GLOBAL NETWORKS : International Student Exchange Program ( ISEP ).
These options will make it easier for you to immerse yourself in a new culture, broaden your academic horizons, and establish international connections that will enrich your university experience.
